The KCRA Repeater network is open to all LICENSED Amateur Radio Operators. Please read the Repeater Guidelines and become familiar with the rules and procedures so all can participate in a friendly and respectful atmosphere.
Both repeaters are located in downtown Brooklyn. Our traditional analog 2m machine, KC2RA is currently located in Brooklyn, NY, and features Echolink (Soon to be Echo-IRLP).
Please note that as of May 15th, 2011 we switched to a new repeater, if it works out well we will soon add a new controller.
2 METER REPEATER FREQUENCY: 146.430 MHz + 1 MHz PL 136.5 Our D-Star machine is WG2MSK on 445.475 MHz UHF, it is a unique repeater in that it is not manufactured by Icom, but is 100% compatible. It is also the only open linking system around, feel free to link to whatever reflector or system you wish (just ask if anyone is using the system first).
Monday Night Club On The Air Net Join us EVERY Monday Evening at 8:30 PM on our analog KC2RA 2m repeater.
This KCRA club net is held weekly at 8:30 PM. Hear Club information, Swap and Shop and the Trivia Game. Round Table discussions will also be held.
