Below is the registration interface for the WG2MSK repeater. This interface will allow you to create and/or maintain your call sign on the global D-Star network. Do I really need to register? You must register your call sign on the network if you are using an internet based device (such as a DV-Dongle or DVAP) or you may not be able to transmit. You should also register if you wish to control the repeaters linking functions, or have multiple terminal (radio) ID's. For any other reason, registration may not be necessary, but you can do it anyway. Who may register? Any amateur radio operator holding a FCC technician class or above license that resides in the ARRL NLI section may register on this system on a primary basis. Others living in the ARRL Hudson division may register here if this is their closest gateway, or if their local gateway is for some reason unavailable. We will not allow or consider the registration of a non US call sign, and may at our option choose to deny, revoke, or delete any registration request or active registration for any or no reason without prior notification. Additionally, persons requesting registration should have some form of access to D-Star equipment to justify registration.
How do I register? Please IGNORE instructions found at other sites! Our system is a bit different, and will automatically create your first terminal upon registration approval. 1) Click the "Register" button below. 2) Read the additional agreement and select "YES" if you agree. 3) Enter your call sign in CAPITAL LETTERS. 4) Enter your FULL name as it appears on your FCC license. 5) Enter your correct and valid Email address. 6) Enter a password, it must be between 8 and 16 characters in length. 7) Verify the password you choose by typing it again. 8) Click "OK" 9) A pop-up will ask if you are sure, select OK if all information is correct. You should now see the confirmation screen. If you need help, use the "Contact Us" link at the top right of this site. The registration system is temporarily offline due to a major software upgrade in progress, it should return soon.
