President

Greetings to all club members, Friends of the KCRA and fellow HAM’s.

It’s beginning to feel like winter, but the weather is holding for some outdoor radio fun!  If anyone is able, and would like to join us for some QRP in the park, Please send a note to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. !

We are looking for some Ideas on meeting topics for next year, comments are welcome. Please send a note to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

I would like to thank all our members that helped out during the year with the hands on lab’s and equipment demonstrations.  I would like to thank Dave for bringing in his HT Museum.  He had many interesting stories to tell about the history of each of the HT’s and other equipment.

This month’s meeting, or VE team will be giving a class on how to become a VE.  All General and above are welcome to take the test at the end of the meeting.  The Board member elections will also be held at the end of the meeting.

Become Radioactive!   Come to the KCRA meetings!  Learn something participating in our Hands-On-Labs! The Kings County Repeater Association needs your support at our monthly meetings!  If you have any ideas that pertain to amateur radio, we would like to hear from you.

I think most of us are members of the ARRL.  If you are not, I would like you to consider becoming a member of the ARRL. The ARRL has a lot to offer you in many ways, and they protect the amateur radio bands from commercial use!
